Our naturally produced Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is all about innovation and experimentation. Simply put, we’ve perfected a delicious full flavoured wine by slowing the grape plant’s ability to make sugar but not its ability to make flavour. And it’s all done in the vineyard, no chemistry tricks or genetic engineering wizardry here. Just sustainably grown, naturally produced lower alcohol wine.
Our Sauvignon Blanc nearly leaps out of the glass. With red capsicum, passionfruit and fresh herb notes, it’s full and satisfying to taste, with that crisp refreshing, tropical Marlborough finish.
All at only 9.5% alcohol. It’s perfect modern drinking.

A good example of the low-alcohol style, the 2017 vintage is pale and fresh, with vibrant green-apple flavours, slightly sweet and tangy. It’s a strongly varietal wine, light and lively

John Forrest’s 2017 version of his pioneering naturally low alcohol sauvignon (9.5%) is pure and exuberant, with an intriguing mix of fresh green flavours with a dash of overripe tropical fruit, derived from several different harvest times/ripeness levels blended together. I like the crunchy grapefruit finish; and, really, little is sacrificed in the way of flavour to achieve such a low alcohol wine by natural means (no alcohol removal). Well done again. Tasted August 2018.
